Wood | HGT- The Signing Ceremony of The Strategic Cooperation Agreement Was Successfully Held

On the afternoon of March 28, 2024, the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation agreement between Zhongyi Wood Engineering Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Wood") and Hangzhou Guoneng Steam Turbine Engineering Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "HGT") was held in HGT factory. Wood Supply Chain Vice President - Ren Xiaofeng, Wood Supply Chain Procurement director - Zhang Wen, HGT General manager - Wang Zhanchi, HGT Deputy General manager - Zhao Weidong and other leaders attended the signing ceremony, and responsible personnel from relevant departments of both sides attended and witnessed together.

Mr. Wang first welcomed the arrival of Vice President Ren Xiaofeng and his delegation. Mr. Wang said that HGT's development in overseas markets in recent years is obvious to all, and the establishment of cooperative relations between HGT and Wood will help HGT continue to deepen the overseas large power generation market, promote the upstream final owners and EPC suppliers to enter the qualified supplier list, and broaden the cooperation between two parties businesses.

 HGT will set up a project team to serve Wood, and will devote some resources to Wood, including but not limited to technology, manufacturing, service and manpower. In the future, HGT will leverage its experience in working with many world-class customers to provide professional and efficient solutions for Wood.

Vice President Ren Xiaofeng said that Wood focuses on energy, oil refining, petrochemical, chemical, coal chemical, pharmaceutical and other fields, providing one-stop international engineering service solutions covering the whole life cycle of engineering consulting, engineering design, project management (PMC), EPC/EPCm, operation and maintenance services. Wood has always hoped to integrate with domestic high-quality enterprises and improve the compatibility in the running in. At the same time, in order to further respond to and promote the national "innovation-driven development" strategy, the two sides are willing to strengthen the cooperation in the fields of new energy and hydrogen energy. In addition, the two sides will actively respond to the requirements of the EU CBAM carbon tariff and expand the research on forward-looking technologies and key common technologies.

HGT and WOOD start coominication in 2018 and planted the first seeds of cooperation in the 2020 JFE biomass power generation project in Japan.
