Huizhou,China|China Move faster to achieve carbon neutrality and promote green development in the Greater Bay Area

Recently, HGT and Siemens Energy co., Ltd. have entered into cooperation on the second phase natural gas power generation expansion project of Huizhou Fengda Power Plant, providing condenser systems for two sets of steam turbine units of the project. The project uses Siemens SGT5-4000F gas turbine, and the corresponding generator, steam turbine, construction of two sets of 460MW natural gas generator sets.

Natural gas combined heat and power generation (CHP) is one of the most efficient and environmentally friendly energy utilization methods. The production of the project, on the one hand, promotes the use of green energy in the whole Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, meets the growing demand for electricity in the core region of the region, on the other hand, guarantees the stability of the local power system, and adjusts the overall energy structure. It is the mainstream trend of the power generation industry in China to achieve carbon neutrality.

Huizhou Fengda project which after Jiangyin project with Siemens in the level of the unit once again cooperation, is in the basis of the petrochemical industry, power generation and petrochemical parallel market strategy to get the good feedback, also underscores our carbon neutral in our country on the road as spirit,and successfully helps the upgrading and transformation of power industry.
