HGT won the supply contract of Ningbo Kingfa 600KTA propane dehydrogenation project

In November 2021, through nearly a year of follow-up and support, our company successfully won the contract for one set of condensing system and three sets of oil station for the 600,000-ton/year propane dehydrogenation project of Ningbo Kingfa Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. This is also the first comprehensive cooperation between our company and Japan's Mitsubishi Compressor Co., Ltd. to establish a PDH project after the strong cooperation of ethylene.

Ningbo Kingfa 1.2 million tons/year polypropylene thermoplastic elastomer (PTPE) and modified new material integration projects include: 1.2 million tons/year propane dehydrogenation, 1.2 million tons/year medium and high-end polypropylene and 400,000 tons/year modified polypropylene joint production line. The first phase mainly builds 600,000 tons/year of propane dehydrogenation, 800,000 tons/year of polypropylene, 400,000 tons/year of modified polypropylene new material production lines and supporting public works. The second phase mainly builds 600,000 tons/year propane dehydrogenation and 400,000 tons/year polypropylene.

As we all know, there are eight PDH process packages in the market, among which the Olefle process of Honeywell UOP and the Catofin process of ABB Lummus occupy the absolute leading position. Conventional projects mostly use electric drag and few condensers, but this project uses Catofin process. Therefore, this project is of great significance to our company, and it has also achieved comprehensive cooperation between our company's our condensing and oil station system.

The Ningbo Kingfa PDH Project has a total of 3 units, namely Product Gas (PGC), Propylene Refrigeration (PRC), and Ethylene Refrigeration (ERC). This project is a reaffirmation of HGT's technical capabilities and productivity, and it is also another fruit of our company's implementation of the "14th Five-Year Plan". In the future, our company will continue to uphold the original intention and forge ahead towards the common mission and vision.
