Following the condensing system order of FPSO "Maria Quiteria" in Brazil, HGT signed a contract with Baker Hughes once again to supply condensing system for the steam turbine unit of the FPSO project. Based on a long history of collaboration and the executive condition of the condensing system in the first FPSO project, Baker Hughes firmly chose HGT products again from a wide range of global suppliers.
This FPSO which front end engineering and design (#FEED) was performed by #MODEC will serve ExxonMobil's oilfield development project in Guyana , it is designed to operate in 2,000 meters of water, and has storage capacity of 2 million barrels of oil, designed production capacity of 250,000 barrels of oil per day, natural gas processing capacity of 540 million cubic feet per day and water injection capacity of 350,000 barrels per day, meanwhile, the project is scheduled to start the first commercial operation by the end of 2026.
It is not only MODEC's first FPSO to be commissioned in Guyana, but also MODEC's 18th FPSO/FSO to be commissioned in South America.
The order proves that HGT's design and manufacturing capability in offshore/marine equipment field has been recognized by world-class customers, and will further accelerate the company's progress in offshore/marine equipment field and steadily promote the process of enterprise internationalization.
