In December 2023, HGT successfully completed the final acceptance of the condenser of the Guyana FPSO project and recently shipped it to the client's factory for skid mount package.The project which front end engineering and design (#FEED) was performed by #MODEC will serve ExxonMobil's oilfield development project in Guyana , it is designed to operate in 2,000 meters of water, and has storage capacity of 2 million barrels of oil, which is scheduled to start the first commercial operation by the end of 2026.
During the acceptance process, representatives from all parties conducted comprehensive inspections on this condenser, in terms of hydraulic pressure test, weld quality, certification documents, surface paint, etc., and finally determined that the equipment fully meet the requirements of specification and delivery standards.
Since the beginning of the project, various departments of HGT have formed professional teams to deal with every detail of the project seriously, especially in achieving important breakthroughs in classification society certification, meanwhile, the team of HGT continuously communicated with customer during the process and completed every inspection of the project with high standards and strict requirements. The company's mature FPSO condenser manufacturing process also laid a solid foundation for the project's one-time acceptance and final smooth delivery.
The successive delivery of FPSO projects in Brazil, Guyana and other countries means that the design and manufacturing capabilities of HGT in offshore/marine equipment have been recognized by world-class customers.
