HGT was invited to participate in the Siemens Energy Supplier Conference, which had the theme of "CO-CREATE a Competitive Green Supply Chain". As strategic supplier of Siemens Energy, the company’s general manager Zhanchi Wang and deputy general manager Weidong Zhao attended the meeting.

The meeting began with a speech by Mr. Yao , Chairman of Siemens Energy China. He analyzed the market prospects of energy transformation based on the "carbon neutrality" policy trends at home and abroad. Mr. Yao introduced in detail the sustainable development strategic layout of Siemens Energy. It also announced Siemens Energy's "carbon neutrality" goal in the energy transition, which is to achieve carbon neutrality in its own operations by 2030, reduce supply chain carbon emissions by 30%, and reduce customer carbon emissions by 28%. Subsequently, Ms. Barbara, Chief Procurement Officer of Siemens Energy, shared Siemens Energy's future business expectations and order reserves, and emphasized the importance of strategic partnerships in the energy transition. In order to enhance consensus and lead suppliers to jointly carry out green transformation, Ms. Christina, Siemens Energy Sustainability Manager, introduced new decarbonization concepts such as green power, electrification, and green factories, which received an enthusiastic response. Afterwards, Siemens Energy and 37 suppliers jointly signed sustainable development strategies and goals, including a commitment to implement the "3060 Dual Carbon" strategy, practice the ESG concept, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by more than 30% by 2030.

Then, the participants visited Siemens High Voltage Switchgear Co., Ltd. in Hangzhou. During the visit, everyone was deeply impressed by the standardized production lines, comprehensive information boards, intelligent parts and product progress tracking applications, etc.

HGT reached a strategic cooperation and signed a framework agreement with Siemens Energy in 2020, and have been cooperating for three years so far. During this period, both parties adhered to the concept of joint creation and win-win, and the depth and breadth of cooperation continue to improve. In order to further strengthen cooperation and consolidate the partnership between the two parties, the two parties held a renewal ceremony for the framework agreement. Zhenjie Li, Low Carbon Industrial Procurement Director of Siemens Energy, and Zhanchi Wang, General Manager of the company, signed as representatives. The two parties will continue to promote the green supply chain. Committed to achieving sustainable development and the goal of “carbon neutrality”.
